Job summary

Klybeck Life Sciences MENA seeks a qualified QC Microbiology Analyst to join the Quality Control team at the veterinary vaccine facility in Dammam. You will perform microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and method validation in accordance with GMP/GLP and ISO standards.

The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and cross-functional collaboration with QA, Production, and other departments. Prior experience in regulated labs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or another relevant scientific discipline.
• An advanced qualification in microbiology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related discipline is an advantage.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or veterinary vaccine laboratories is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, Good Documentation Practices, data integrity principles, and relevant ISO standards.
• Experience with environmental monitoring and sample handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with GMP/GLP, ISO requirements, and biosafety procedures.
• Perform sampling of raw materials, in-process materials, finished vaccines, media, and water samples.
• Receive, label, log, store, and handle laboratory samples under proper conditions.
• Prepare and test samples from different manufacturing stages.
• Conduct microbiological tests per approved methods and schedules.
• Perform environmental monitoring in production areas including air and surface sampling.
• Prepare, sterilize, label, and store media, reagents, and test solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, contemporaneous documentation, and accurate reporting.
• Report OOS/OOT results and support CAPA investigations.
• Operate and calibrate microbiology equipment (pH meters, incubators, autoclaves, etc.).
• Collaborate with QA, Production, Engineering, and other functions.
