Job summary

The American International School - Riyadh is seeking a licensed full-time Elementary School Teacher for the 2027-2028 school year. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree with a valid teaching certificate and ideally a Master’s degree in Education or related field.

Terms of Employment and Additional Responsibilities

Salary is assigned from the Faculty salary schedule; the contract term is 190 days. Compensation will be determined based on the established Faculty salary schedule.

Contractual hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (5:00 pm on Tuesdays).

Faculty are expected to fulfill duties that extend beyond the school day, including commitments to after-school activities (ASAs), after-school learning (ASL), and coaching (requirement for Physical Education teachers).

All PE teachers are required to coach at least one sport in AIS-R’s Athletics program annually.

Learning and Growth:

Performance is appraised through the AIS-R Professional Growth and Evaluation framework and in accordance with school policy by the designated Supervisor.
