Job summary

Morson Talent seeks an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled RSAF Typhoon maintenance in Ta'if, Saudi Arabia. The role involves disassembly, inspection, minor rectification and supervision of personnel, to ensure airworthiness per RSAF and QMS standards.

Start ASAP on a 12-18 month contract, 48 hours per week Sunday to Thursday. Applicants should hold an aircraft engineering apprenticeship or Part 66 license with 7+ years post-qualification maintenance experience,

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognised aircraft engineering trade apprenticeship.
• NVQ/C&G Level 3 in a relevant technical discipline or Part 66 Licence.
• At least 7 years post-qualification practical maintenance experience or 3 years on Typhoon.
• Experience in a Typhoon maintenance environment and with RSAF/DA publications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled weapons maintenance on RSAF Typhoon aircraft as detailed in maintenance schedules.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, rectify and supervise personnel as required.
• Maintain airworthiness by following RSAF/DA publications and QMS requirements.
• Raising of Independent inspections and performing vital or mandatory inspections.
• Perform daily inspections to meet the maintenance schedule.
• Assist with environment checks, housekeeping and FOD control.
• Complete SMU forms and aircraft maintenance documentation accurately.
• Ensure authorisations are current for the tasks performed.
• Highlight training needs to Team Leader and escalate where needed.
• Comply with SMU Quality Systems and RSAF technical orders.
