Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited seeks an Armament Operator to support Typhoon maintenance in a highly regulated military aviation environment in Taif, Saudi Arabia. You will perform scheduled weapons maintenance on Typhoon aircraft, ensuring compliance with technical data and safety standards.

The role requires a recognised aircraft engineering apprenticeship and Level 2 Electrical/Mechanical qualification, with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in an operational aircraft maintenance environment.
• Experience working on military or fast jet aircraft (Typhoon experience advantageous).
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and quality standards.
• Ability to work in accordance with technical documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled weapons maintenance on Typhoon aircraft.
• Perform tasks including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and minor rectification.
• Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and airworthiness standards.
• Work in accordance with approved technical orders, publications, and quality systems.
• Accurately complete maintenance documentation, records, and forms.
• Maintain valid authorisations for all tasks undertaken.
• Identify and report training needs or skill gaps to supervision.
• Ensure all mandatory training is completed and remains in date.
