Astek Middle East is seeking a Traffic Management Systems Lead in Saudi Arabia to oversee transportation technology and traffic management use cases within a Smart City environment. You will coordinate across transportation, OT, design, technology and operations teams to ensure successful system delivery and operational readiness.

The ideal candidate has experience with ITS and traffic management technologies, strong integration skills, and a track record of coordinating cross-functional teams

Role Overview

We are looking for a Traffic Management Systems Lead to oversee transportation technology and traffic management use cases within a Smart City environment. The role will coordinate across transportation, OT, design, technology and operations teams to ensure successful system delivery, integration and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of transportation and traffic management technology use cases.
• Coordinate with mobility, design, OT and technology teams to ensure alignment with overall transportation strategy.
• Oversee system implementation, integration, testing and field readiness.
• Ensure traffic management systems and related technologies are aligned with Smart City requirements.
• Coordinate integration between traffic systems, field devices, ICT/OT and other relevant platforms.
• Support technical resolution of transportation system issues and cross-domain dependencies.
• Review system readiness for commissioning, handover and operational deployment.
• Act as the key technical interface for transportation-related systems and stakeholders.

Ideal Profile

• Experience in Traffic Management Systems, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Smart Mobility or Transportation Technology.
• Strong understanding of traffic control/management systems and technology integration.
• Experience working with OT/IT systems, field devices and system integration.
• Strong stakeholder and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Experience delivering transportation technology projects in large-scale or Smart City environments is preferred.
