Wood in Saudi Arabia seeks a seasoned TPE V Gas Compression SME to serve as the Technical Authority across its energy and industrial projects. The role focuses on gas processing, gas compression, and package integration, requiring leadership in concept to detailed design reviews and strong vendor management. A Chartered Engineer status is preferred, with extensive experience in oil, gas, petrochemical, or energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Gas Processing, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects.
• Proven experience as Technical Authority, Chief Engineer, Principal Consultant, Engineering Fellow or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering; Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Technical Authority across multiple projects.
• Lead technical reviews during Concept, FEED and Detailed Design.
• Perform independent design assurance and peer reviews.
• Resolve complex engineering challenges and provide specialist guidance.

We are seeking an TPE V Gas Compression SME to serve as the Technical Authority across our portfolio of energy oil amp gas mining industrial and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia The role purpose is to provide technical authority for Gas Processing and Gas Compression systems including compressors gas turbines compressor stations Sulphur Treatment Technologies and package integration

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Technical Authority across multiple projects
• Lead technical reviews during Concept FEED and Detailed Design
• Perform independent design assurance and peer reviews
• Resolve complex engineering challenges and provide specialist guidance
• Support proposals client workshops and business development
• Mentor young engineers and develop technical capability
• Develop and maintain engineering standards and best practices

What We're Looking For:

A recognized industry expert with a proven track record of solving complex engineering challenges, influencing clients, mentoring engineering teams and driving technical excellence across major international projects.

Bachelor's Degree in the relevant Engineering (Chemical / Process) discipline.

Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer status is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Gas Processing, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects.

Technical Expertise:
