Job summary

DP World in Saudi Arabia seeks a seasoned leader to helm the end-to-end logistics applications landscape, with a strong focus on Transportation Management Systems (TMS). You will drive continuity, optimization, and cost-efficient operations while delivering high service quality.

You will bridge Logistics stakeholders, IT teams, and technology vendors, translating business needs into actionable functional solutions and maximizing value from logistics technology across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of enterprise applications experience with logistics systems.
• Strong hands-on functional experience with TMS, WMS, and ERP logistics modules.
• Experience in TMS implementation, integration, configuration, enhancement, and support.
• Proven ability to lead and own application portfolios and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the logistics application portfolio, including TMS, WMS, ERP logistics modules, CRM, and system integrations.
• Partner with Logistics and Supply Chain stakeholders to understand requirements and translate into functional solutions.
• Lead TMS functional initiatives, enhancements, implementations, integrations, and continuous improvement.
• Drive optimization, innovation, and process improvement across logistics operations.
• Ensure applications are stable, available, secure and aligned with business requirements.
• Develop and maintain the logistics application catalogue with ownership, SLAs, and costs.
• Manage technology vendors, monitor SLAs, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX/OPEX management, and cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, information security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary functional liaison between business users, IT, vendors, and implementation partners.

The role acts as the key link between Logistics business stakeholders, IT teams, and technology vendors, translating business requirements into effective functional solutions and driving value from logistics technology.

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise applications, with significant exposure to logistics and supply chain systems.
• Strong hands-on functional experience with TMS, WMS, and ERP logistics modules.
• Experience in TMS implementation, integration, configuration, enhancement, and support.
• Previous experience as a Functional Lead, TMS Lead, Application Manager, Business Systems Lead, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, particularly transportation operations.
• Proven experience in vendor management, SLA governance, and application ownership.
• Experience managing application budgets, CAPEX/OPEX, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
