Job summary

Novartis Farmacéutica in Saudi Arabia seeks a seasoned Medical Affairs leader to develop and execute the Therapy Area Medical Strategy aligned with global and regional plans, including launch readiness, lifecycle management and patient access.

You will lead the Therapy Area Medical team, ensure alignment with commercial, regulatory and access strategies, oversee medical information and evidence generation, and support clinical trials, IITs, and NIS while maintaining high scientific credibility.

Qualifications

• MD/MBBS/PharmD/PhD in Lifesciences. MBA is a plus
• More than 10 years’ experience in Medical Affairs function in pharmaceutical industry
• Experience with specialty products
• Experience and familiar with healthcare landscape in Saudi Arabia
• Significant leadership experience, and proven ability to manage and motivate team of diverse backgrounds

• Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance and regulatory standards.
• Provide medical insights to shape clinical practice and healthcare policy.
• Support and oversee: Clinical trials (Phase I–IV),Investigator-initiated studies (IITs), Non-interventional studies (NIS)
