Job summary

Weatherford International Oil Field Services in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Technical Service Manager to drive sales of Well Construction products and provide technical expertise to support the sales and service process. You will lead a team of Applications Engineers and Technical Sales Engineers, develop strategies, and ensure safe, high-quality project delivery while building strong client relationships.

The role requires extensive Oil & Gas experience, fluent English, and a mechanical

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Oil & Gas industry.
• Minimum of 5 years product line experience in Well Construction (Liner Hanger, Cementing, Completions).
• Strong technical sales background and ability to present technical and commercial proposals.
• Experience submitting Technical Investigation reports.
• Experience of working in Saudi Arabia preferred.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical and commercial Well Construction services including Liner Hangers, Cementing and Completions.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to hit revenue targets and grow market share across regions and accounts.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and client engagement.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular meetings, technical discussions, and presentations.
• Lead and mentor a team of Applications Engineers and Technical Sales Engineers driving performance and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with customer requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and commercial guidance to support business development initiatives and contract negotiations.
• Ensure the highest standards of QHSSE compliance across operations and activities.
• Promote a strong safety culture and adherence to policies and regulations.

The Technical Service Manager is responsible for driving sales Weatherford s Well Construction technical products and services developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and providing technical expertise to support the sales service process. This role combines technical knowledge with sales acumen to meet and exceed revenue targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the technical and commercial delivery of Well Construction services including Liner Hangers Cementing and Completions
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share across assigned regions and customer accounts
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and client engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular meetings, technical discussions, and presentations
• Prepare and deliver compelling technical and commercial presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective and existing customers
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Applications Engineers and Technical Sales Engineers driving performance and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with customer requirements
• Provide technical expertise and commercial guidance to support business development initiatives and contract negotiations
• Ensure the highest standards of Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSSE) compliance are embedded within all operations and activities
• Promote a strong safety culture ensuring adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and environmental responsibilities

Required

• 15+ years within Oil & Gas industry
• Minimum of 5 years product line experience of Well construction products such as Liner Hanger, Cementing or Completions.
• Background in Technical Sales
• Experience of Technical Investigation reports Submit Technical Investigation reports
• Experience of working in Saudi Arabia is preferred
• Experience of conducting presentations
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English both written and verbal

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree with mechanically oriented background.
