Job summary

Dar Al Riyadh Group is hiring a Technical Project Coordinator/Contract Specialist in Riyadh to manage contracts and coordinate cross‑functional project teams. The role requires 8 years of experience in engineering/construction environments and strong contract administration skills.

The successful candidate will support PMO management, oversee schedules and budgets, and help ensure on‑time delivery and compliance across engineering, procurement, construction, and project management activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in technical project coordination, contract management, or a similar role in engineering/construction/PMC/consultancy.
  • Proven experience coordinating large‑scale engineering or construction projects.
  • Strong drafting, reviewing, administering, and negotiating contracts, SLAs, scopes of work, etc.
  • PMP or equivalent project/contract management certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and contract administration.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technical and contractual activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams.
  • Support project managers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects from initiation through completion.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project requirements.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, service agreements, scope of work, and related contractual documents.
  • Monitor contract compliance, deliverables, milestones, and contractual obligations.
  • Support contract negotiations with vendors, consultants, and service providers.
  • Identify and monitor contractual and project risks, including scope changes, delays, claims, and resource constraints.
  • Maintain contract registers, project trackers, action logs, and related documentation.
  • Prepare project reports, contractual summaries, presentations, and management updates.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and key milestones.
  • Support change management, variation orders, and contract amendments.
  • Coordinate project meetings and ensure timely follow-up and closure of action items.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to the PMO management team.

  • PMP certification or relevant project/contract management certification is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and contract administration principles.

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Microsoft Excel, and Smartsheet.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, and project tracking.

  • Strong understanding of project and contract risks, including delays, scope changes, variations, claims, and resource constraints.
