Job Objectives

The Technical Instructor is responsible for the competent delivery of their relevant stream subjects offered within the scope of ARX course offerings. The instructor also is expected to participate in the delivery of specialist subjects relevant to their stream, which are embedded within other stream courses.

Qualifications
  • Must have a strong ability to deliver the curriculum material in English.
  • If the candidate is not an English native speaker, an IELTS score of 6.5 on the academic test must be submitted.
  • Appropriate teaching or instructional qualifications suitable for a technical environment or a higher recognized qualification in teaching or training.
  • Holds a qualification of Aircraft Technician license issued by a recognized authority such as FAA, EASA, GACA, etc.
Experience
  • Has experience within technical institutions, teaching classes as an aircraft maintenance instructor/teacher/trainer.
  • Previous experience (minimum of 5 years) in delivering aviation-based technical training programs in the post‑secondary, technical, or vocational sector.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a flexible team environment.
  • Willingness and ability to demonstrate initiative and accept responsibility.
  • A relevant Aircraft Maintenance Engineering experience in a mechanical or avionics specialty.
