Job summary

Sarj is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager in Riyadh to own customer delivery from requirements to deployment. You will work with customers to translate needs into technical requirements and ensure delivery by product, engineering, and operations teams.

The role emphasizes managing expectations under pressure, maintaining delivery quality, and driving actions across multiple teams to meet timelines and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing role involving technical delivery, implementation, consulting, solutions engineering, or similar.
• Strong experience with direct customer interactions and stakeholder management.
• Calm under pressure with demanding customers; ability to reset expectations.
• Technical curiosity about APIs, integrations, workflows, and product limitations.
• Demonstrated delivery and project management with ownership.
• Highly organized with attention to multiple moving parts.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Judgment to know when to push back or say no.
• Willingness to challenge both customers and internal teams constructively.

Role Overview

As a Technical Delivery Manager, you'll sit at the intersection of our customers, product, and engineering teams, owning the delivery of solutions from initial requirements through deployment. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their needs, translate them into clear technical requirements, and ensure our teams deliver outstanding results. This role is about more than just keeping projects on track, it’s about managing expectations, solving problems, and exercising sound judgment under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Own customer delivery as the primary point of contact throughout implementation, ensuring expectations, timelines, and outcomes are clearly managed.
• Translate complex customer needs into actionable requirements for product and engineering teams.
• Work with technical teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver solutions on time and to a high standard.
• Manage difficult conversations with demanding stakeholders, especially when requirements, timelines, or expectations need to be challenged.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and potential gaps early, addressing them proactively to protect delivery quality.
• Know when to push back, when to negotiate, and when to drive the team to deliver.
• Engage in meaningful technical conversations with engineers, challenging assumptions and understanding feasibility.
• Track requirements, dependencies, edge cases, timelines, and issues while keeping sight of the overall project vision.
• Coordinate across product, engineering, operations, and customer stakeholders to maintain project momentum.
• Identify recurring delivery challenges and help build stronger processes and tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role involving technical delivery, implementation, consulting, solutions engineering, technical account management, or a similar function.
• Strong experience working directly with customers and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Comfortable working with demanding customers and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Technically curious and credible, comfortable with APIs, integrations, system workflows, technical requirements, and product limitations.
• Demonstrated delivery and project management skills with a high level of ownership.
• Excellent attention to detail while managing multiple moving parts.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, including resetting expectations when necessary.
• Good judgment: knowing when to push, when to compromise, and when to say no.
• Willingness to challenge both customers and internal teams constructively.
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in ambiguous and fast-changing environments.
• Backgrounds in consulting, solutions engineering, technical account management, implementation, or similar functions are highly relevant.
