We are hiring a Technical Architect to own the end to end design of the digital platforms that power modern sports and entertainment venues. This covers fan applications, ticketing and entry systems, data platforms and the wider venue technology stack.
You will turn business and product needs into architectures that are scalable, secure and ready to integrate, and you will work side by side with sports domain specialists, product owners and delivery teams so that what is designed still performs on match day.
Most of your time will go to major sports and entertainment developments across the Kingdom, shaping the digital and data foundations behind stadiums, arenas, training facilities and fan facing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Solution design: Define complete architectures for fan engagement platforms, ticketing and access control, data platforms and venue system integrations.
Technology blueprinting: Convert business requirements and venue experience concepts into clear technical plans covering cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, APIs and third party integrations.
Data and integration: Design how data moves between physical venue systems (access control, IoT, point of sale) and digital platforms (apps, CRM, analytics), with a single consistent data model.
Pre-sales support: Write and own the technical sections of proposals, tender responses and client workshops, building credible technical stories that sit alongside the commercial case.
Delivery guidance: Support engineering teams during build, making sure the design survives real constraints such as load, latency, security and vendor limits.
Standards and reuse: Set technical standards, reference architectures and repeatable patterns that can be applied across venues and programmes .
Stakeholder partnership: Act as the technical counterpart to industry specialists and business leads, linking architecture decisions to business outcomes.
Required Experience and Skills
At least 7 years in solution or enterprise architecture, ideally on large programmes spanning many systems.
Demonstrated delivery of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), data platforms and API led integrations.
Practical experience connecting physical and digital environments such as IoT, access control, POS, CRM and analytics, b ackground in smart venues, stadiums, retail, hospitality or other large facilities is a strong advantage.
A record of leading client conversations: producing architecture documents, presenting to technical and executive audiences, and defending design choices.
Solid understanding of security, scalability and data governance for high volume, real time workloads such as live event traffic.
Ability to collaborate comfortably with commercially minded industry specialists.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Right to work, and willingness to be based onsite in Riyadh for the length of the engagement.
Background in sports technology, live entertainment, ticketing or smart venue platforms.
Experience on large scale developments in the Gulf region.
Knowledge of fan engagement products, sports data platforms or venue management systems.
Arabic and/or Spanish language ability.
Consulting or professional services experience.
Who This Role Is Not For
Candidates whose experience is limited to infrastructure or DevOps without solution level design.
People who prefer to design alone, away from business and industry stakeholders.
Candidates who need a fully scoped brief before they can begin.
How We Will Assess You
Architecture judgment: Can you design a scalable and secure platform for a high traffic, multi-system environment?
Integration thinking: Can you map and reconcile data flows between physical and digital systems?
Communication: Can you present and defend an architecture to both engineers and executives, in English, under time pressure?
Pragmatism: Can you balance design rigour with delivery deadlines and real world limits?

Onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Relocation is required for the engagement.
Working week follows the Saudi calendar, with flexibility around delivery milestones.
