Job summary

BAE Systems is seeking a maintenance leadership professional for the Taif site, focusing on safe and compliant execution of the Maintenance Solution in line with MOE and engineering standards. You will lead and develop maintenance teams, ensure staff competency, and manage safety and quality processes.

The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning planning, qualification checks, and on-site supervision in a key aviation maintenance

Qualifications

• Have at least 10 years post qualification practical maintenance experience within operational flying aircraft environment.
• Have at least 7 years experience in a relevant management role.
• Saudi Engineering Council (SEC) Registration or the ability to obtain registration.
• Formal recorded workplace applied related training.
• Extensive experience with EASA/MCA Part 145.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and effective delivery of the Taif-based Maintenance Solution in line with Salam MOE/AMCM System.
• Maintain MOE to reflect current Taif maintenance organisation.
• Ensure maintenance personnel are suitably qualified and experienced.
• Develop and maintain Maintenance Performance Metrics for cost-effective deployment.
• Highlight maintenance risks via Salam Risk and Opportunity Management System.
• Escalate MOE or RSAF RFL issues to Head of Engineering & Compliance.
• Supervise engineering personnel and maintain quality standards.
• Promote proactive safety reporting culture with Hazard Log and Safety Case.
