Job summary

Azeus Convene in Riyadh is seeking a Systems Engineer to design and implement secure system architectures and oversee on-site deployments for our collaboration platform.

You will gain intensive on-the-job training and work on hardening servers, firewall policies, and cloud deployments across AWS, Azure, and KSA cloud. You'll join a growing support team and may lead implementations at client premises, with on-call responsibilities to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar systems engineering/support/DevOps role.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, KSA cloud), firewalls, and Linux-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up servers with hardening and firewall policies between servers.
• Implement applications developed by Azeus in the cloud (AWS, Azure, KSA cloud, etc.).
• Lead the implementation of applications developed by Azeus in client premises.
• Handle server and application software hardening and firewall policies setup.
• Identify and analyze system integration problems.
• Resolve server issues by identifying root cause and taking remedial actions.
• Formulate and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Formulate and implement preventive actions for recurring issues.
• Identify recurrent tasks and recommend automation tools.
• On-call for support cases.

As a Systems Engineer, you will design and implement systems architectures to ensure security frameworks.

You will undergo intensive on-the-job training and mentoring to prepare you for the following responsibilities:

• Setup servers with hardening and firewall policies between servers
• Implement applications developed by Azeus in the cloud (AWS, Azure, KSA cloud, etc.)
• Lead the implementation of applications developed by Azeus in client premises.

You will be prepared to handle server and application software hardening, firewall policies setup, etc.

• Identify and analyze system integration problems
• Resolve server issues by identifying root cause and then doing immediate remedial actions
• Formulate and implement corrective actions in case problem re-occurs
• Formulate and implement preventive actions to prevent the issue from happening again
• Identify tasks that are recurrent and recommend tools to automate those tasks

On-call for support cases.
