  • Six years of relevant work experience, including three years in a senior role for Bachelor's.
  • Four years of relevant work experience, including two years in a senior role for Master's.

Job description
  • Supervises and conducts timely and accurate registration of items assigned to employees as part of their nature (e.g. stethoscope, PC) work such under their personal custody.
  • Oversees and registers preeminent custody items and gifts (e.g. from medical equipment, non-medical gifts or furniture) from advertising companies for departments and individuals.
  • Monitors and reports in audit committees regarding inventory and custody cases and related matters.
  • Signs clearance certificates for employees upon resignation, retirement, transfer, death or vacations and processes for ratifying them by signing and sealing by the Inventory Control Department.
  • Participates in the development of clear system-wide policies and procedures for departments, sections & individuals on how to deal with the items custody, from receiving to return / handover to the organization.
  • Compiles and reports meeting decisions related to transfer of custody from one department to other or one person to other.
  • Monitors the accuracy of all data entries in the system in all areas and generates reports as required.
  • Reviews statistical data and reports on unit’s charges and unit’s performance to the entities.
  • Participates in KSUMC planning and development programs as required.
  • Supervises on daily bases activities and duties within the assigned areas and coordinates and reports to the concerned management
  • Supervises and oversights of unit staff and activities, ensuring the delivery of effective and quality services.
  • Accountable for the development / maintenance and upkeep of all unit manuals, policies & records
  • Establishes related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for evaluation unit’s performance.
  • Supports the management in the effective coordination, implementation, monitoring and review of processes, protocols and standards related to unit’s functions
  • Addresses employee and work-related issues and problems, guides staff performance and concerns.
  • Ensures staff training, evaluates staff performance and submits performance reports about work-load and accomplishments.
  • Attends and provides educational activities including training juniors, attending seminars, presentation, workshops and sharing of knowledge with staff.
  • Performs administrative activities such as supervision for weekly reports, handling inquiries preparation of monthly work-schedule for staff, tracking of maintenance work order requests, etc.
  • Writes an official delegation of all responsibilities and assignments prior to leave / vacation.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned as per to the policy within the entity assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Master Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Hospitals Management, Heath Allied or equivalent related field.

Experience:

  • Bachelor: Six (6) years work experience in similar field including three (3) years in senior role.
  • Master: Four (4) years work experience in similar field including two (2) years in senior role.
