Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Senior Special Project Lead to own and drive high-priority strategic initiatives from concept through completion. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, risks, and timelines, and report progress to executives.

The role requires 8–12 years in project management, strong governance experience, and proven ability to deliver complex, cross-functional transformations. MBA preferred, PMP/PRINCE2 or related certifications are nice-to-have.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage strategic, complex, and enterprise-wide projects from initiation through closure.
• Develop project charters, business cases, work plans, budgets, and implementation roadmaps.
• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved quality standards.
• Monitor project performance and proactively address risks, issues, dependencies, and bottlenecks.
• Provide clear status reporting and progress updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of coordination across all participating departments.
• Align stakeholders on project goals, priorities, timelines, and responsibilities.
• Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution to maintain project momentum.
• Coordinate and optimize resource allocation across multiple business functions.
• Ensure seamless collaboration among internal teams and external partners where applicable.
• Establish and maintain project governance structures and reporting frameworks.
• Standardize project management methodologies, templates, tools, and best practices across the organization.
