Job summary

UCC Holding is seeking a Procurement Engineer to manage the technical and commercial procurement for construction and hospitality projects in Riyadh. You will work with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, HSE, Finance, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and services while controlling costs.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and expertise in ERP/SAP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
8–12 years of relevant procurement experience in construction or hospitality projects.
Experience procuring large-scale building, commercial, residential, hospitality, or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of procurement processes including tendering, technical evaluation, and delivery management.
Experience with ERP/procurement systems; SAP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute procurement plans aligned with project requirements and budgets.
Review specifications, drawings, BOQs, and requisitions to identify procurement needs.
Prepare RFQs, RFPs, and inquiries to approved suppliers and subcontractors.
Identify and prequalify suppliers based on technical capability, quality, and delivery performance.
Lead commercial negotiations to achieve favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Prepare purchase orders and subcontracts and manage procurement documentation.
Monitor supplier performance, schedules, and material availability.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
