Job summary

UCC Holding is seeking a high-caliber Procurement Engineer with a Civil or Architectural Engineering background to lead procurement for luxury hotel construction projects. The role demands strong technical and commercial acumen, a hands-on SAP experience, and excellent stakeholder management.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Commercial, QA/QC, Planning, Logistics, and Finance teams to protect milestones and deliver premium finishes and services on time.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of procurement experience with a major main contractor.
• Experience in luxury hotels or high-specification projects.
• Strong understanding of architectural finishes, materials and project requirements.
• Hands-on SAP experience is essential.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of construction materials, finishes, MEP items, specialist packages, and services.
• Review technical specs, drawings, BOQs, and material requirements to meet project needs.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and evaluate technical/commercial comparisons; support supplier selection.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Commercial, QA/QC, Planning, Logistics and Finance teams.
• Proactively manage long-lead and critical materials to protect milestones.
• Utilize SAP/ERP for PRs, RFQs, POs, tracking and reporting.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and specs.
• Resolve supplier and procurement issues quickly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of construction materials, architectural finishes, MEP-related items, specialist packages, and services.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and material requirements to ensure procurement meets project requirements.
• Source, technically evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and evaluate technical/commercial comparisons and support supplier selection.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Construction, Commercial, QA/QC, Planning, Logistics, and Finance teams.
• Proactively manage long-lead and critical materials to protect project milestones.
• Utilize SAP/ERP for PRs, RFQs, POs, procurement tracking, and reporting.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong understanding of architectural finishes, construction materials, specialist works, and project requirements.
• Strong hands-on SAP experience is essential.
• Excellent technical, commercial, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
