Job summary

Egis is seeking a detail-oriented Materials/Procurement Engineer to join our Riyadh team. You will manage procurement processes, optimize sourcing, and ensure cost-effective supply chain operations in Saudi Arabia.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience with procurement systems, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to support operational objectives and compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to source materials and services while maintaining quality standards and cost efficiency.
• Analyze supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to achieve optimal pricing and delivery terms.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor material stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and compliance criteria.
• Prepare detailed procurement documentation, including purchase orders, specifications, and compliance reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
• Analyze procurement data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and local Saudi Arabian requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Manage procurement-related projects and support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
• Utilize ERP systems and procurement software to track orders, manage inventory, and generate performance reports.
