Job summary

Ektis in Saudi Arabia seeks a Procurement Lead to own the firm's sourcing and supplier relationships across KSA and UAE. You will run live sourcing exercises, negotiate contracts, and build a procurement function from the ground up, reporting to the CFO.

The role focuses on delivering savings, reducing cost, and strengthening vendor risk management, with hands-on category management across technology, professional services, and facilities.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in procurement, sourcing or commercial roles.
• Proven record of running competitive sourcing and negotiating contracts personally.
• Strong experience of indirect spend, particularly technology, professional services and subcontracted labour.
• Working experience in Saudi Arabia with practical understanding of regional supplier markets, tax treatment and documentation requirements.
• Experience in professional services, consulting or another people-led, project-based business is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and category management across all third-party spend.
• End-to-end sourcing from requirement definition through market approach, evaluation, negotiation and award.
• Build spend views by category, supplier and entity to prioritise value.
• Develop category strategies for technology, cloud, professional services and facilities.
• Run competitive processes proportionate to value and risk; resist unnecessary process on low value purchases.
• Lead commercial negotiation on price, terms and service levels.
• Own supplier contract templates and standard terms with legal and CFO input.
• Maintain a contract register with renewal dates and owners.
