Job summary

Algihaz Marine in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Marine Logistics Lead to oversee end-to-end marine logistics, vessel scheduling, and port utilization, driving cost-efficient operations and compliance with international maritime standards.

You will manage a team of logistics admins, negotiate high-value contracts with vessel owners and port authorities, and push ERP-driven process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Oversight: Lead and optimize the end-to-end marine logistics workflow, including vessel scheduling and port utilization.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the Marine Logistics Admin team, ensuring accuracy in sales orders and procurement entries.
• Contract Negotiation: Manage high-value contracts with vessel owners, agents, and port authorities to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop and track KPIs for logistics efficiency and cost control.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all maritime operations adhere to international safety standards (IMDG, MARPOL) and local port regulations.
• Process Improvement: Drive the implementation of advanced ERP features to automate documentation and reporting.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with Project Managers and Finance Directors to align logistics with budget and timelines.
