Job summary

Zutari, a leading buildings, infrastructure engineering and advisory firm, seeks a Senior Legal Counsel for its Riyadh, Saudi Arabia operations. You will provide expert legal and commercial advisory, manage disputes, and ensure regulatory compliance across project lifecycles, collaborating with leadership to balance risk and growth.

The role requires fluency in English and Arabic, with a strong background in contract law and multinational experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years in a similar role.
• Experience in multinational engineering, construction or professional services.
• Fluent in English and Arabic with strong written and verbal skills.
• Strong knowledge of contract law in the Middle East.
• Proven experience negotiating and drafting contracts.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate and finalise commercial agreements and NDAs, MOUs, and service and supplier contracts.
• Advise stakeholders on obligations, liabilities and risk exposure.
• Lead and participate in negotiations with clients, partners and suppliers.
• Manage contractual claims and disputes, and assist in settlements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, governance and legal risk management.
• Maintain contract records and develop templates and precedents.
