Job summary

Jeel Digital Innovations, a Riyad Bank subsidiary, seeks a Risk Manager to lead the Enterprise Risk Management program and strengthen governance across the organization. You will develop and refine the ERM framework, maintain risk registers, and drive risk assessments with business units to enable informed decisions.

This role requires leadership experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong KRIs, reporting, and regulatory awareness, with fluency in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in Risk Management in banking or related industries.
• 2–3 years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Strong expertise in ERM frameworks, risk methodologies, risk registers, and enterprise-wide risk assessments.
• Proven ability to lead teams, facilitate risk workshops, and collaborate with senior management.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous enhancement of Jeel’s Enterprise Risk Management framework.
• Maintain risk methodologies, policies, processes, and reporting structures.
• Develop and maintain the Enterprise Risk Register across strategic, operational, financial, technology, and compliance risks.
• Support the integration of risk management practices into business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments and facilitate workshops with business units to identify emerging risks and evaluate existing controls.
• Review and challenge risk assessments to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with established risk methodologies.
• Develop and oversee risk mitigation plans, ensuring timely implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Provide risk advisory support for new products, projects, strategic initiatives, and organizational changes.
• Define and monitor risk appetite, risk tolerance, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) in collaboration with senior management.
• Analyze risk trends and emerging exposures to provide proactive recommendations.
• Prepare comprehensive risk reports, executive dashboards, and management insights to support informed decision-making.
• Monitor risk mitigation progress and report significant risk developments to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Compliance, Information Security, and business units to ensure alignment of risk management activities.
• Promote a strong risk-aware culture through awareness sessions, guidance, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure risk management practices align with applicable regulatory expectations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to strengthen risk ownership and accountability.
• Lead, coach, and develop the risk function.
• Provide technical guidance, assign responsibilities, and monitor team performance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance risk management processes, controls, and operational effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the overall effectiveness of the risk management function.
