Job summary

AECOM Middle East Ltd seeks an experienced Senior Commercial and Contract Manager for its Riyadh operations. The role oversees the full contract lifecycle, from negotiation and drafting to execution and renewal, ensuring financial viability and strategic alignment with the company’s goals.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in commercial management, with at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia or the GCC, and possess strong negotiation, risk assessment, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in commercial management, contract management, or related roles.
• Minimum 5 years of direct professional experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies that support profitability and competitive advantage.
• Evaluate commercial opportunities across business units and market segments.
• Align commercial objectives with organizational priorities and financial targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve contract value, pricing structures, and operating margins.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and relevant industry practices.
• Recommend commercial improvements based on market conditions and business requirements.
• Provide strategic commercial guidance to senior management.
• Lead negotiations involving clients, vendors, suppliers, and business partners.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and execute commercial contracts.
• Evaluate contractual terms to protect company interests and support favorable commercial outcomes.
• Manage complex negotiations involving multiple parties and competing requirements.
• Ensure agreements reflect approved commercial objectives and organizational policies.
• Coordinate contractual matters with legal, finance, operations, and other relevant departments.
• Provide expert guidance on contract interpretation and commercial obligations.
