KAUST is seeking a Career Development & Internship Lead to provide career counseling, professional development, and internship support to KAUST students, aligning pathways with their skills, interests, and goals.

The role collaborates with faculty, student services, alumni and employers to expand internships and deliver workshops, tracking outcomes to ensure high-quality experiential learning across Saudi Arabia and beyond.

Qualifications

• Provide career counseling and advising to KAUST students.
• Assist with internship development and employer engagement.
• Translate academic and research experiences into career competencies.
• Develop individualized career plans and professional development.
• Demonstrate knowledge of career development principles and job-search strategies.
• Collaborate with faculty, student services, alumni and employers.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized career counseling and advising across KAUST programs.
• Conduct one-on-one sessions on CVs, interviewing, networking, and job search.
• Support internship placement processes and monitor outcomes.
• Develop resources to help students navigate career exploration and employment.
• Track student engagement and feedback to improve services.
• Coordinate career programming and workshops.
