Job summary

Dar Wa Emaar is seeking a warehouse/stocking associate to handle shipping, receiving and inventory tasks in our Riyadh facility. You will ensure accurate stock records, process orders, and help maintain safe handling and storage of materials, including hazardous substances.

Ideal candidates have a diploma in a related field and at least 3 years in similar roles, with 5 years preferred. Strong English communication and basic PC skills are required to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in a related field is preferred.
• 3 years minimum in the same function; 5 years preferable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains district inventory for Plant supplies including ordering, receiving and allocating.
• Prepare annual requisitions, orders and reports; type as required.
• Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders; document discrepancies.
• Post daily incoming and outgoing plant stock; report damages or discrepancies.
• Handle storage and transportation of hazardous materials; ensure proper disposal.
• Maintain neat records for warehouse, records area and stores area.
• Inform relevant personnel about material arrival and arrange inspection.
• Answer questions on procedures and resolve receipts, deliveries, warranties and surplus property.

About the Role

Under direction, performs a variety of shipping/receiving, stocking activities; stores and distributes supplies and equipment; maintains inventory and stock records; may serve as a lead worker to other classified staff in the area; and perform related work as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains district inventory for Plant supplies which includes ordering, receiving and allocating
• Prepare and type annual requisitions, orders, reports, correspondence.
• Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
• Post daily incoming and outgoing plant stock.
• Reports canceled and damaged items to the purchase department as appropriate.
• Handles and documents storage and transportation of hazardous materials.
• Identification, segregation and preservation of materials stored
• Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner.
• Segregation of waste for proper disposal
• Inform relevant personnel about the arrival of material and to arrange for inspection
• Answers questions regarding procedures and resolves discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs and surplus property.
• Arrange to return non-conforming materials
• Issue material as per the requirements and maintain records
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Preferable: 5 years

Required Skills

• Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles
• Knowledge of environmental and health impact of chemicals being stored in the ware house
• Knowledge of identification, handling, storing and disposal of wastes and expired chemicals
• Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure.
• Ability to pass a typing test at 35 words per minute
• Ability to operate a personal computer and related software
• Good communication skills in English Language.
