Job summary

Mambu is seeking a Solutions Engineer to partner with our sales team, presenting tailored SaaS banking solutions to clients across the FinTech landscape. You will craft demos, assist with proposals, and analyze requirements to design compelling, implementable financial service solutions.

You will interact with banks and fintechs, apply banking knowledge to advising on product fit, and work with ecosystem partners to identify the best combination of offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in banking/FinTech with lending, deposits, payments operations.
• Previous pre-sales/solutions engineering in SaaS.
• Experience responding to formal procurement procedures (RFI/RFP).
• Consultative mindset: listen, understand, and anticipate customer needs.
• Customer-facing experience with ability to influence executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to prepare and present solutions to clients.
• Create demos and assist with proposals and requirements analysis.
• Engage with fintech clients from banks to startups to tailor financial service designs.
• Collaborate with ecosystem partners to map offerings to customer needs and implementation strategies.
• Coordinate with delivery teams and product management to transition projects and propose enhancements.

What You’ll Do

• As a Solutions Engineer, you will work with our sales team to prepare and present solutions to clients: from preparing demos, assisting with proposals and requirements analysis.
• You will get the opportunity to work with different types of FinTech companies, from large banks to small startups, while applying your banking and FinTech knowledge to help them design the next generation of financial services.
• You will closely interact with clients to deeply understand the customers' strategic and operational needs, prepare solution materials, conduct product showcases, run proof of concepts and any other work required to help the clients understand how Mambu fits their needs
• You will get the opportunity to work with ecosystem partners to understand their offerings to advise customers and prospects on which partners are best to implement with Mambu
• You will work closely with our delivery teams, and transition new projects as well as coordinate with product management on any new features, changes or enhancements

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience working in the banking or FinTech industry and deep knowledge of consumer or business lending, deposits products, payments and related operations
• Previous experience in a pre-sales / solutions engineering role in a SaaS offering.
• Experience in responding to formal proposal procedures such as: Requests for Information (RFI) and RFPs
• A consultative mindset of listening, understanding and anticipating customer needs
• Customer facing experience and ability to influence Executive Level audiences
