Job summary

NOV is seeking an experienced Solids Control and Waste Management supervisor in Saudi Arabia to oversee the technical integrity of packages and ensure safe, efficient project execution aligned with quality, cost and schedule targets.

You will coordinate equipment transfers, supervise installation and dismantling of solids control gear, maintain daily activity reports, and liaise with the client to optimize service delivery while upholding company values and HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in solids control and drilling waste management with supervision.
• Strong experience in waste management equipment and operations.
• Experience in Project Engineering/Management within oil & gas and solids control.
• Knowledge of international Oil & Gas standards.
• Strong technical understanding of engineering and project execution methods.

Responsibilities

• Verify transfers of equipment and parts from well to base and from well to well.
• Ensure safe equipment movements, arriving in good condition per transfer instructions.
• Document any loss or damage of equipment during movements.
• Request required consumables based on field needs.
• Keep work, living areas clean and orderly at all times.
• Supervise installation of Solids Control and Auxiliary equipment at each location.
• Supervise dismantling of Solids Control and Auxiliary equipment, free from drilling mud and debris.
• Verify correct operation of Solids Control and Auxiliary equipment at locations.
• Maintain daily operation activity reports for each location.
• Communicate with HR, HSE, Operations, Security about incidents or anomalies.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety and environmental policies.
• Ensure proper use of equipment, materials and tools for daily activities.
• Oversee maintenance program and ensure timely execution.
• Perform operational and safety checklists as required.
• Maintain records designated by the QMS and ensure compliance.
• Ensure weekly delivery of all HSE and operational requirements by personnel.
• Close anomalies by the stipulated dates across projects.
