Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Safety Coordinator (Saudi National) to join our team in Saudi Arabia. You will support the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements across assigned project areas, coordinating with the HSE Manager and Senior HSE Coordinators to ensure compliance with procedures and risk controls.

You will conduct site inspections, identify hazards, monitor PTW and high-risk activities, and promote safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Project HSE Plan, procedures, and site safety requirements.
• Conduct routine site safety inspections and safety walks under the direction of senior HSE personnel.
• Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, hazards, and report them to the responsible HSE personnel.
• Monitor compliance with approved Risk Assessments, JSA/JHA, and Method Statements.
• Ensure workers follow established safe work practices and approved control measures.
• Support monitoring of Permit to Work (PTW) requirements for applicable activities.
• Monitor high-risk activities including work at height, excavation, lifting operations, hot work, confined spaces, electrical activities, and equipment operations.
• Support implementation of airport / airside safety requirements where applicable.
• Monitor appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Check housekeeping, access and egress, barricading, warning signs, lighting, and general site safety conditions.
• Report unsafe conditions and follow up with supervisors and contractors on corrective actions.
• Assist with maintaining safe work zones, exclusion areas, pedestrian routes, and traffic controls.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings
