Job summary

Laverne Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage local and international shipments from suppliers through delivery to the warehouse. You will work with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure on-time, cost-efficient operations.

The role requires coordinating schedules, tracking departures/arrivals, and maintaining ERP records while monitoring costs and customs requirements. Based in Riyadh, this position reports to the logistics function.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on local and international shipments from suppliers until delivery to the warehouse.
• Coordinate with suppliers, shipping companies, and freight forwarders to ensure timely shipments.
• Track shipment schedules, departure and arrival dates, and maintain accurate shipment updates.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth receiving and accurate shipment quantities.
• Handle shipment delays and operational issues with relevant parties.
• Update shipment information and status in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Inventory, Finance, and other related departments.
• Monitor shipping costs, quotations, and invoices.
• Follow up on customs clearance and shipping requirements when required.
• Prepare regular reports on shipment status, delays, costs, and operational issues.
• Monitor the performance of shipping companies and service providers.
• Maintain accurate and organized shipping records.
• Support improvements in shipping efficiency, lead time, and operational costs.
