Shift Section Head – Manufacturing

Job summary

Saudi Networkers Services in Riyadh is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee production across multiple work areas in line with shift plans and to promptly address machine breakdowns.

The role emphasizes efficient resource use, safety, quality, and collaboration with section heads, with responsibilities including handover reports, waste reduction, and adherence to OHS/environmental measures.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years experience with Degree; 5 years with Diploma
• Min 2 years experience in cabling industry with Degree; 4 years with Diploma
• Min 1 year man-management in factory environment
• Previous focus on Quality Control and sound working practices

Responsibilities

• To supervise production across work areas in accordance with shift production plans.
• To respond immediately to and then arrange for rectification of machine breakdowns and other stoppages in production.
• To promote full manpower and machinery resource utilisation by amending production activities to fit the current operating circumstances
• To present handover reports at shift-end, reporting on shift productivity and specifically on any stoppages and their causes.
• To record remedial measures taken and/or calls for additional machine maintenance as necessary.
• To work alongside Section Heads (C&A and E&P) troubleshooting production difficulties and promoting safe and sound working practices
• To encourage shift supervisors to motivate machine operator teams maintaining a primary focus on quality of product and cost efficiency of output
• To monitor waste production and contribute to its reduction in order to reduce cost and improve efficiency
• To undertake other tasks and responsibilities as instructed by the Production Manager and Section Heads as applicable to and commensurate with the job role.
• To communicate MSDS for the hazardous materials to the personnel who are handling and processing it.
• To communicate OHS risk assessment & environmental aspect/impact review in the concerned activities/work location.
• To arrange the safety control measures identified under OHS risk assessment & environmental aspect/impact review in his respective area.
• To incorporate the related safety and environmental measures in the concerned works instruction.
