Job summary

CES LTD is seeking a ServiceNow Architect in Riyadh to lead ITOM and CMDB initiatives across cloud and on‑prem environments. The role requires hands-on development, strong architecture skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

The candidate will design and maintain CMDB health dashboards, governance, and data certification processes while building deep integrations with major observability tools and incident workflows.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and implementation experience.
• Expertise in ITOM/CMDB with Service Mapping, Discovery, Event Management, and CSDM.
• Strong scripting and API skills: JavaScript, JSON, REST/SOAP, OAuth.
• Experience with cloud and containerization (AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker).

Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration, implementation and maintenance of ServiceNow ITOM across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Architect and optimize CMDB health dashboards, data certification schedules and reconciliation rules.
• Build deep bi-directional integrations between ServiceNow ITOM and observability platforms (Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, AppDynamics, Grafana).
• Configure event rules, correlation rules, alert profiles and automated remediation via Flow Designer & IntegrationHub.
• Mentor developers, perform architecture reviews and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• ITOM CMDB Architecture
• Lead the configuration implementation and maintenance of ServiceNow Discovery Service Mapping and Event Management across cloud and on-premises infrastructure
• CMDB Health Governance
• Design build and optimize the Configuration Management Database CMDB health dashboards data certification schedules and reconciliation rules to ensure data accuracy and compliance
• Observability Integrations
• Architect build and maintain deep bi-directional integrations between ServiceNow ITOM and third-party observability monitoring platforms e g Dynatrace Datadog Splunk New Relic AppDynamics Grafana
• Event Management Automation
• Configure event rules correlation rules alert profiles and automated remediation workflows via Flow Designer IntegrationHub to translate system alerts into actionable incidents
• Custom Code & Scripting
• Write advanced highly efficient JavaScript Script Includes Business Rules UI Actions and custom patterns for complex discovery and integration scenarios
• Platform Security & Compliance
• Manage Access Control Lists ACLs secure credential configurations within the MID Server architecture and enforce platform development best practices
• Technical Leadership
• Act as the subject matter expert SME during architecture reviews mentor junior developers and translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 7 to 8 years of core hands-on development and implementation experience within the ServiceNow platform.
• ITOM/CMDB Expertise: Proven track record of successfully delivering end-to-end ServiceNow ITOM implementations, with deep mastery over Service Mapping, Discovery, Event Management, and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework.
• Observability Domain Knowledge: Practical experience consuming data streams, payloads, and webhooks from major enterprise observability technologies to drive event to-alert mapping.
• Advanced Scripting & API: Exceptional proficiency in server-side/client-side JavaScript, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and custom MID server script includes.
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Strong foundation in networking, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), operating systems (Linux/Windows), and storage arrays to correctly build discovery patterns.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, clear communication, and the ability to influence technical decisions across cross-functional infrastructure teams.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Discovery (CIS-Discovery)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Event Management (CIS-EM) or Service Mapping (CIS-SM)

Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL v4 Foundation or Managing Professional certification.
• Industry certifications in specific observability platforms or cloud environments (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Datadog/Dynatrace certifications).
