Job summary

Getinge is seeking an experienced field service professional in Saudi Arabia to independently perform maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections on Getinge products. The role involves traveling to customer sites, documenting work, and supporting service needs in the assigned territory.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in medical device service, strong electronics knowledge, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must be at least a Graduate, Preference for Biomedical Engineers or Computer Science, Telecommunication.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in service/medical technician roles.
• Experience with operation tables, surgical lights, pendants, tracking and integrated workflow systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform maintenance, repairs and safety inspections on Getinge products.
• Document all service work in the documentation system.
• Work with customers, internal and field sales teams to coordinate service activities.

Position Objective

Independent execution of maintenance, repairs, and safety-related inspections on Getinge products, and support of customers in all service matters within the assigned territory in Saudi Arabia. The role is based centrally within the assigned territory and travels to customer sites to carry out and organise the work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Independently carry out maintenance, repairs, and safety-related inspections on Getinge products.
• Support products and customers in all service matters and document all service work in the documentation system.
• Act as a medical device advisor (support function, on the basis of applicable medical device regulations).
• Work closely and coordinate with customers as well as the internal and field sales teams.
• Provide cover in adjacent service territories when required.
• Prepare cost estimates and quotations for customers.
• Carry out quality-system responsibilities, including documentation of service work and the maintenance and processing of service orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and health standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, IEC, CE, and hospital-specific protocols).
• Achieve Service Target.

Qualification (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• Must be at least Graduate, Preference for:Biomedical Engineers computer Science, Telecommunication.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferred in: Experience with operation tables, surgical lights, pendants, tracking and integrated workflow systems
• Completed training as a mechatronics, electrical, medical, or power-electronics technician, or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience as a service or medical technician, electrical technician, or electronics technician.
• Knowledge of electronics, medical technology, and IT systems.
• Flexibility and reliability.
• Technical aptitude and enthusiasm.
• Ability to work independently.
• Team player with commitment and a strong sense of responsibility.
