Job summary

DS DeepSource is seeking a senior VMware Engineer to design, deploy, and manage VMware virtualization solutions for clients in a demanding environment. You will administer vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter, build templates and snapshots, and optimize performance while troubleshooting complex issues.

The role requires 6+ years in VMware engineering, strong NSX experience, and reliable collaboration with teams; VCP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
6+ years of VMware engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi and vCenter.
Experience with VMware NSX for network virtualization.
Certifications such as VCP are preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and deploy VMware virtualization solutions for clients.
Administer VMware vSphere infrastructure including ESXi, vCenter Server, and virtual machines.
Create and maintain VM templates, snapshots, and clones.
Monitor system performance and optimize configurations for efficient operation.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware infrastructure and virtual machines.
Implement and maintain VMware NSX for network virtualization.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and design customized VMware solutions.
Create and update technical documentation, including installation guides and SOPs.
