Job summary

Avensys Consulting is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator – Windows & VMware with 8+ years of experience to manage enterprise Windows Server and virtualization environments. You will apply expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware/VCF, PowerShell, networking, backup, security, and production support.

The role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, plus willingness to work shifts in a dynamic enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and services.
• Advanced understanding of Active Directory and DNS.
• Experience with VMware and VCF components.
• Scripting with PowerShell for automation.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
• Knowledge of Exchange, Citrix, and SCCM applications.
• Experience closing VA/CR findings.
• Security best practices including patching and access controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
