Job summary

Rackspace Technology in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to drive presales for VMware enabled infra modernisation and AI platforms. You will design GPU‑powered, Kubernetes orchestrated solutions and partner with Sales and Delivery to win strategic opportunities across the Middle East.

The role requires deep VMware and AI experience, strong workshop leadership, and ability to translate customer needs into robust cloud and AI architectures.

Qualifications

• Senior Solutions Architect with deep VMware, infra modernisation and AI platform enablement expertise.
• Supports strategic presales opportunities across the Middle East region.
• Leads customer workshops on private cloud, hybrid cloud and AI platform strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with client executives and technical stakeholders.
• Lead customer workshops focused on VMware technologies, private cloud adoption, and platform transformation.
• Design and position solutions leveraging VCF, vSphere, NSX, Aria Suite, Tanzu and Kubernetes.
• Architect AI serving/training stacks above the platform layer including GPUaaS and model inference.
• Embed guardrails, governance, security controls, and regulatory alignment in designs.
• Lead complex presales engagements with SMEs, Product Management, Sales and Delivery.
• Produce high-quality proposals, RFI/RFP responses and SoWs outlining requirements, scope and effort.
