Qualifikationen

• PhD in a relevant field.
• 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in molecular genetics, cloning, gene editing, viral vector production, and cell culture.
• Strong scientific track record including management of research projects or publications.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with researchers to identify viral vector systems for key questions.
• Produce high-quality viral vectors tailored to experimental needs.
• Supervise and mentor a laboratory technician; manage daily tasks for timely deliverables.
• Coordinate multiple projects and timelines to meet milestones.
• Develop and enforce SOPs to ensure efficiency, reproducibility and compliance.
• Ensure GLP and biosafety compliance and safe working environment.
• Integrate laboratory data with Bio-Medical Platform and collaborate with IT/bioinformatics teams.
• Design and implement new or improved techniques to enhance vector performance and reduce costs.
• Provide advanced training in viral vector production and build technical expertise among staff.
• Conduct routine lab duties including procurement, documentation, equipment maintenance, and committee participation.
