Job summary

Parsons Corporation in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex utility compound projects from initiation through commissioning and handover. The role requires 15+ years of experience managing major construction and utility programs, with strong governance, risk, and change-control capabilities.

You will coordinate civil, structural, architectural, MEP, power systems, and SCADA interfaces, ensuring design outputs align with procurement, construction, and operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive project management experience on major construction and utilities projects.
• Significant exposure to utility compounds, substations, and related facilities.
• Proven record delivering multidisciplinary projects from initiation to handover.
• Familiarity with governing contracts and change management procedures.
• Masters degree and PMP certification are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, delivery, handover, and closeout of utility compound projects.
• Define execution strategies, milestones, and stage-gate requirements.
• Establish governance, teams, communication, reporting, and decision processes.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams and align with client requirements.
• Develop and manage integrated project management plans (scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk).
• Monitor schedule and cost performance; drive corrective actions with teams.
• Manage change control, variations, and documentation.
• Coordinate with design directors and consultants for timely outputs.
• Lead/interface coordination across civil, structural, architectural, MEP, power, SCADA, and site infra.
• Ensure testing, commissioning plans, and handover materials are prepared.
