Job summary

Parsons seeks a Senior Construction Manager to lead field delivery of utility compound construction in Riyadh. You will coordinate civil, electrical, and mechanical work, manage safety, quality, and schedule, and drive EPC delivery with contractors and engineers on major transmission, distribution, and substation projects.

The role demands 15+ years of leadership in utilities construction, experience with live environments, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressive construction management experience on major infrastructure, utility, power, or industrial projects.
• Strong experience focused on utility compounds, substations, transmission and distribution infrastructure, or live power environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex multidisciplinary construction projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction execution for utility compound projects including transmission lines, distribution networks, substations, underground duct banks, and overhead systems.
• Manage projects from notice to proceed through construction, testing, commissioning support, turnover, and closeout.
• Develop detailed construction execution plans, phasing strategies, work sequencing, access arrangements, and site logistics plans.
• Oversee daily construction activities across civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical work fronts to ensure compliance with design documents, utility standards, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project controls, commercial teams, and contractors to support an integrated EPC or project delivery approach.
