Job summary

Atwad is seeking a Communication Engineer with UAV systems expertise to design, integrate and validate robust communication links across flight systems, payloads, ground stations, and companion computers. The role emphasizes telemetry, C2, and data-link reliability in autonomous platforms.

The candidate should have a minimum of five years in UAV communications, strong embedded skills, and the ability to collaborate with firmware and hardware teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience as a Communication Engineer – UAV Systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and validate communication systems for UAV and autonomous platforms.
• Work on telemetry, command-and-control, and data-link systems.
• Integrate and debug communication protocols across embedded systems.
• Support flight controller, ground station, payload, and companion-computer connectivity.
• Troubleshoot latency, packet loss, link reliability, interference, and range issues.
• Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams on interface and protocol implementation.
• Conduct field testing, validation, and reliability analysis.
• Document communication architecture, test results, and system behavior.
