About the Role
We are looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer with strong experience in STM32 series MCUs, ARM processors, and embedded system programming. The role also involves working with higher-end processor platforms such as Jetson, MediaTek, Snapdragon, or similar ARM-based SoCs, depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, and maintain embedded firmware for STM32 and ARM-based platforms.
- Work on board bring-up, peripheral bring-up, and low-level driver development.
- Develop firmware for communication, control, sensing, and real-time applications.
- Work with embedded Linux and processor-level integration where required.
- Interface firmware with hardware, sensors, motor controllers, and companion computers.
- Support product validation, testing, troubleshooting, and production release.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, debug logs, and test reports.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in embedded firmware or embedded systems development.
Skills Required:
- Strong Embedded C / C++
- Deep knowledge of STM32 series
- ARM Cortex-M and/or ARM Cortex-A experience
- FreeRTOS or other RTOS experience
- Strong understanding of: GPIO, ADC, DAC, Timers, PWM, interrupts, DMA, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN/CAN-FD, USB, Ethernet, RS485, Watchdog, boot flow, memory handling, JTAG/SWD debugging, logic analyzer, oscilloscope usage, Firmware architecture, state machines, fault handling, and safety logic
- Experience with embedded Linux, device drivers, bootloaders, BSPs, or Linux peripheral integration
- Experience using Git and code review workflows
Added Skills Wanted
- Board bring-up and hardware-firmware co-debugging
- Sensor integration: IMU, encoders, current/voltage sensing, temperature sensing; motor-control-related firmware, especially BLDC/PMSM CAN-based system integration
- Support for robotics, UAV, automation, or industrial embedded products
- Experience with Jetson / Snapdragon / MediaTek class systems
- Bootloader, firmware update, diagnostics, and production test support
- Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 integration is a plus
