Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Traffic Engineering.
• 5–10 years of traffic engineering experience.
• Knowledge of traffic modeling tools (SIDRA, Synchro optional).
• Familiar with MUTCD and local traffic safety regulations.
• Strong design, reporting, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare traffic layouts, detour plans, and signage plans.
• Conduct surveys, volume counts, speed studies, and LOS analysis.
• Review contractor proposals for temporary traffic layouts.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and project specifications.
• Support lane closures and road safety planning.
• Monitor site implementation of traffic control devices.
• Participate in coordination meetings with consultants and authorities.
• Prepare documentation, reports, and engineering recommendations.
