The role emphasizes designing robust test cases, executing service level validations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality releases for critical enterprise billing solutions.

The position is on-site with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in web services testing with SoapUI and REST API tools for enterprise-scale applications.
• Understanding of billing and revenue management processes such as rating, invoicing, and revenue posting.
• Ability to interpret XML/JSON data structures used in service requests and responses.
• Familiarity with defect management and test management platforms with traceability from requirements to defects.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed test scenarios and cases for web services-based billing and revenue platforms.
• Execute web services tests with SoapUI to validate request/response structures and business rules.
• Perform REST API validation of endpoints, payloads, authentication flows, and response codes.
• Coordinate with developers, product analysts, and operations to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
• Review requirements, user stories, and interface specs to derive traceable test conditions.
• Manage test data creation for complex billing scenarios (profiles, plans, invoices, payments).
• Document defects with steps and payloads and assist with retest and impact assessment.
