Job summary

Mohammad Al Habib Real Estate Co. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Mechanical Engineer to support the design, coordination, review, and execution of all mechanical systems for a prestigious high-rise building project in Riyadh.

The successful candidate will ensure HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and other mechanical systems are designed and implemented in compliance with project requirements, local regulations, international codes, and project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering license or relevant certifications are preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within towers projects.
• Proficient in BIM and building services coordination.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical design drawings and shop drawings (HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, chilled water systems).
• Prepare and coordinate mechanical shop drawings and BOQ take-offs.
• Conduct technical/QC reviews against design, ASHRAE/NFPA and Saudi codes.
• Support BIM coordination and resolve cross-discipline clashes.
• Review vendor submittals and equipment datasheets.
• Provide guidance to site mechanical engineers.
• Participate in testing, balancing, and commissioning reviews.
• Ensure compliance with mechanical codes and project standards.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Mechanical Engineer to support the design, coordination, review, and execution of all mechanical systems for a prestigious high-rise building project in Riyadh. The successful candidate will ensure that HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and other mechanical systems are designed and implemented in compliance with project requirements, local regulations, international codes, quality standards, and project schedules.

• Review mechanical design drawings and shop drawings (HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, chilled water systems) for high-rise tower developments.
• Prepare and coordinate mechanical shop drawings, ensuring compliance with approved design intent, the BIM-coordinated model, and actual site conditions.
• Prepare and maintain As-Built drawings for mechanical works, reflecting actual site execution for record and O&M handover purposes.
• Prepare and verify BOQ (Bill of Quantities) take-offs for mechanical works from drawings, to support procurement, tendering, and evaluation of variations/change orders.
• Conduct technical/QC reviews of mechanical installations against approved design, ASHRAE/NFPA, and Saudi codes.
• Support BIM coordination for mechanical services and lead resolution of cross-discipline clashes.
• Review vendor technical submittals, equipment datasheets, and material approvals.
• Provide technical guidance to site mechanical engineers on complex system design and installation issues.
• Participate in testing, balancing, and commissioning reviews of mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable mechanical codes and the project's technical standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering license or relevant certifications are preferred.
