Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Technical Business Analyst for remote contract work focused on data, analytics, and emerging technology. You will bridge business and technical teams across multiple streams and document requirements, data contracts, and governance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of BA experience, strong communication, and knowledge of data platforms and AWS services; the role emphasizes discovery, scope management, and artifacts over production delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a BA/Technical BA or Requirements Analyst in data, analytics, technology, or platform engagements.
• Experience facilitating structured discovery workshops and turning discussions into actionable requirements.
• Strong understanding of data platform and cloud architecture concepts, including governance, metadata management, and lakehouse patterns.
• Experience with AWS data environments; hands-on implementation not required; familiarity with S3, Glue, Redshift, DataZone, Lake Formation.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured discovery workshops with diverse stakeholders to identify and validate requirements.
• Build and maintain detailed requirements matrices for data types, interfaces, frequencies, dependencies, and consumers.
• Own scope tracking and MVP boundary management with change-control processes.
• Maintain governance artifacts and metadata standards with architects and data leads.
• Coordinate across workstreams to ensure consistent data contracts and architectural decisions.
• Facilitate feasibility discussions, track risks, and escalate unresolved issues.
• Translate complex tech concepts into clear requirements and functional specs.
• Support program leadership with logs, action items, and delivery coordination.
• Produce client-facing deliverables and workshop summaries.
