Job summary

Master Works is seeking a Data & Analytics Consultant to lead BI and data engineering, overseeing the enterprise data warehouse, ETL/ELT, and BI reporting ecosystem. This role partners with Operations, HR, Finance, IT, and Strategy to capture requirements, define KPIs, and deliver decision-support tools.

The candidate will design Power BI dashboards, optimize SQL, and guide data governance while collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders. Client Site location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Analytics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, or Data Consulting.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and data visualization.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical/analytical solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter or IICS.
• Mastery of SQL Server or cloud data warehouses; proficient in query optimization.
• Expert-level Power BI skills (Power BI Service, Gateway, Premium, DAX).
• Cross-functional domain knowledge in operations, finance, workforce analytics, and strategy.
• Experience with Azure/Azure Data Services or similar cloud analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of Python for data analysis is preferred.
• Knowledge of DAX and Power Query is preferred.
• Understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, and MDM is preferred.
• Experience in AI/ML analytics or integrating AI capabilities is preferred.
• Certifications like Power BI Data Analyst or Azure Data Engineer are preferred.

In addition to technical leadership, this role acts as a strategic business partner across Operations, HR, Finance, IT, and Strategy to capture business requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and deliver actionable decision-support tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical/analytical solutions.

• Extensive hands-on background with Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Mastery of SQL Server or modern cloud data warehouses, relational database design, and query optimization.
• Expert-level competency in Microsoft Power BI (Power BI Service, Gateway management, Premium capacity, DAX).
• Demonstrated cross-functional domain knowledge across business operations, corporate finance, workforce analytics, and strategic execution.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Services, or cloud analytics platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge of Python for data analysis is preferred.
• Experience with DAX and Power Query is preferred.
