Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Subcontract Administration Manager to oversee contractual and commercial administration of subcontract agreements from award through completion and close-out. The role focuses on variations, claims, invoicing, and overall contractual compliance.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or law, plus 8+ years in subcontract administration within construction or infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in subcontract administration, contracts management, or a related function within construction or infrastructure.
• Strong drafting, writing, and correspondence skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer multiple subcontract agreements throughout their lifecycle.
• Review and interpret subcontract agreements to ensure compliance and identify potential contractual and commercial risks.
• Manage Variation Orders, claims, extensions of time (EOT), delays, and other subcontractor entitlements, including assessment, negotiation, and resolution.
• Draft, review, and respond to formal contractual letters, notices, claims, and subcontractor correspondence.
• Monitor subcontractor progress, payment milestones, invoices, retention, advance payments, and outstanding contractual deliverables.
