Job summary

BEC Arabia seeks a highly skilled Technical - Structural Team Leader to oversee the structural design of major projects in Khobar, including NEOM and Vision 2030 initiatives. You will lead a team of engineers, ensure SBC compliance, and guide technical decisions from concept through construction.

This full-time, office-based role includes occasional site visits, collaboration with regional teams, and exposure to cutting-edge tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other structural tools.
Strong knowledge of SBC and international standards (ACI, BS, Eurocodes).
Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is required.
Proven track record managing structural teams for large-scale projects.
Familiarity with BIM workflows and Revit.

Responsibilities

Lead the structural engineering team in developing innovative, compliant designs for large-scale construction projects.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and PMs to integrate structural designs.
Develop detailed structural calculations, drawings, and specs using ETABS, SAP2000, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Ensure SBC and international standards compliance.
Monitor construction activities and provide technical support on site.
Mentor junior engineers and drive professional development.
Collaborate with clients to address queries and align with project objectives.
