Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to supervise design reviews, construction activities, and site inspections for major high-rise developments. The role emphasizes adherence to approvals, standards, and safety, with coordination across multiple disciplines.

The candidate should have 10–15 years in structural engineering, GCC experience preferred, and professional certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; Master's preferred.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), M.I.StructE, MICE, or equivalent certification desirable.
• 10 to 15 years of professional Structural Engineering experience; 5+ years on major high-rise and large-scale projects.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC preferred; familiarity with consultants, PMCs, developers, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Review and supervise structural construction activities for high-rise and large-scale building projects.
• Ensure works are executed per approved drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Witness critical activities: concrete pours, reinforcement inspections, steel erection, load testing.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, façade, geotechnical, and construction teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare inspection reports, technical assessments, and progress reports.
